Elsie Cond loved people. When she retired in 2004, she took a look around Spencerport and realized that there was a need for a family-style restaurant that served great food at reasonable prices. Slayton Place filled that need, and in 2005 her daughter, Vicki joined her in the business. Elsie lives on in our hearts and in the foods and conversations she loved.
